Kinder Duty
Well yesterday I did kinder duty. It was my first time for the year and in matilda's new 4 year old class. I was at first worried because i had to take Declan who would usually be asleep at that time but he was fine. he was so good I hardly saw him. He just went off and played while I got on with writing kids names on art work and all the fun things a duty mum is to do!!. Even when the kids went out to play and i remained inside to clean up he tottled off with henny the assistant and waved me a see ya on his way.
Matilda loved having us there to help and even got to do some special jobs as her mum was on duty! It's great to see what they do and an inside look at her as a kinder kid.
it was a great afternoon but declan and I sure were knackered after our duty session lol. Declan was fast asleep in the car well before we got home . I look forward to my next duty session as I am sure does Declan and matilda.

Oh I cant wait to do kinder duty!! Will be kinda hard as we are not able to take siblings along :( I have actually missed my first duty!! Believe it or not I was 'rostered on' for their second day and only got the roster their second week at kinder!! Would be nice to see what they actually do. Gives you more to talk about with them when they come home!!
Oh sounds a blast Emma!! I have duty in 2 weeks and I am really looking forward to it. Alexandra sounds a lot like Declan and just roams around like she owns the place. Bugger you can't take siblings Abbey :( Thanks for sharing Emma!
